7.3. Check of serviceability of a condition of a starter

Check is made on the starter removed from the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Transfer a starter to a workbench and attentively study a condition of teeths of a driving gear wheel (also estimate a condition of teeths of a driving disk on the engine).
Check a condition of teeths of a reducing gear wheel, in case of need replace a reducer.
The leading gear wheel of a starter has to rotate freely in one direction and be blocked regularly in attempt of rotation to the opposite side. At failure of the obgonny coupling driving assembly is subject to replacement.
