5.14. Diagnostics of the air conditioning system

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Include ignition.
Within 5 seconds after implementation of start of the engine press the OFF button on the K/V control panel and hold it pressed within not less than 5 seconds.

Step 1 - check of light-emitting diodes and active zones of the display

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Make sure of serviceability of a luminescence of all light-emitting diodes. Check serviceability of functioning of all segments of active zones of the screen.
If any light-emitting diodes do not burn, or defects of the screen take place, therefore, the OFF switch is faulty, or the fluorescent tube of the display failed. Replace the AUTO K/B amplifier.
If everything is all right, you pass to the following stage of check.

Check of serviceability of functioning of the HOT switch

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Press the switch (HOT) of the К/В control panel.
On the screen has to the offer of transition to a step 2 checks will be highlighted ("Advance to self-diagnosis STEP 2?"), otherwise the HOT switch is damaged and it is necessary to replace the AUTO K/B amplifier.

Check of serviceability of functioning of the COLD switch

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Press the switch (COLD) of the control panel.
On the screen has to the offer of return to a step of 1 check will be highlighted ("Return to self-diagnosis STEP 2?"), otherwise the COLD switch is damaged and it is necessary to replace the AUTO K/B amplifier.

Step 2 – check of a condition of chains of the K/V information sensors on break and short circuit

Press the switch (HOT) — on the screen the code No. 20 has to be highlighted.
If the code 20 is highlighted regularly, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise pass to the last stage.

Step 3 – check of serviceability of functioning of the inlet gate and gate of switching of the modes of circulation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Press the switch (HOT) — on the screen the code No. 30 has to be highlighted.
If the code 30 is highlighted regularly, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise pass to the last stage.

Step 4 – check of serviceability of functioning of actuation mechanisms

PERFORMANCE ORDER

At the started engine press the switch (HOT).
Has to lead Nazhimaniye on the DEF button to consecutive highlighting of codes with 41 on 46, confirming serviceability of functioning of all actuation mechanisms (see the following stage of check).

The ID card (see the table the ID card of conditions of the K/V actuation mechanisms) allows to estimate serviceability of a condition of all actuation mechanisms used in the K/V system.
Also check serviceability of the drive of switching of the directions of distribution of air (see the table Check of Serviceability of Functioning of the Drive of Switching of the Directions of Distribution of Air).
At correct functioning of all actuation mechanisms you pass to point 9 of check, otherwise make necessary recovery repair.

Step 5 – Check of serviceability of functioning of sensors of temperature

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Press the switch (HOT) — on the screen the code No. 5 has to be highlighted.
You pass to the following stage of check.

Sensor of temperature of external air

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Once press the switch (DEF) — on the screen the indication of temperature of external air has to be highlighted.

Conclusion to the screen of the inscription ECON testifies to negative indications.

If the displayed value considerably differs from real, it is necessary to check at first a condition of an electrical wiring of a chain of the sensor, then actually the sensor.
